Douglas S. MacKay, CFA

Doug is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer of Broadleaf Partners, LLC. He is responsible for setting the overall investment strategy at Broadleaf and is the primary portfolio manager of the Broadleaf Growth Equity Portfolio. Doug has nearly 30 years of investment experience. Prior to starting Broadleaf, Doug was instrumental in launching and managing a family of highly successful mutual funds.

He is a graduate of Miami University, magna cum laude, and holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He currently serves on the University of Akron’s Business School Advisory Board and is active in a number of church related ministries, including Boy Scout Troop 778 of inner city Akron and South Street Ministries. Doug loves anything to do with the great outdoors, particularly backpacking and sporting clays, and has grown fond of watching his boys play baseball over the years. Doug lives in Boston Heights with his wife and four children.

William F. Hoover

Bill is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Broadleaf Partners, LLC. He is responsible for the operation, marketing and development of the Firm’s Core Portfolio Services. Prior to joining Broadleaf Partners in 2009, Bill spent 16 years with major Wall Street wirehouses as an investment consultant to corporations and high net worth individuals.

He is a graduate of The College of Wooster where he earned his degree in Business Economics and served as Captain of the men’s tennis team. Bill is a graduate of Leadership Stark County, Trustee of the Canton Student Loan Foundation, serves on the President’s Advisory Council of Stark State College Akron and has served as President of the Revere Local Schools Board of Education. In 2010, Bill was recognized by the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce as a “30 for the Future” Award recipient. Bill enjoys traveling with family, golfing, tennis and fly fishing, and resides in Bath where he and his wife raised their five children.

Alyce Hoffman

Alyce is an Operations Associate and Trader at Broadleaf Partners, LLC. She has worked in the financial industry since 1994 as an investor relations and client services manager. She is responsible for client services and communications. She is a graduate of The University of Akron where she earned a degree in Business Administration. Alyce lives in Hudson with her husband Kevin, where they raised their two boys.

Kathleen Zullo

Kathleen is a Trader, Operations and Compliance Associate at Broadleaf Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Broadleaf in 2009, she had over 10 years experience in banking and IT supporting financial services. She is responsible for client services and communications, compliance, and IT support. She is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College where she earned a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science. Kathleen lives in Hudson with her husband Art, where they raised their two children.

Lisa MacKay

Lisa is an Operations Associate at Broadleaf Partners, LLC. She is responsible for assisting in the areas of accounting and payroll. She is a graduate of Miami University where she earned a Marketing degree in Business Administration. She is the wife of Doug MacKay. They reside in Boston Heights with their four children.
